Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents.Vapor pressure: 0.000142mmHg at 25°CProduction methodThe reaction of p-aminobanisole hydrochloride with sodium thiocyanate was used to obtain p-methoxyphenyl, which was then closed loop with sulfur chloride. The process is as follows:(1) Add water to a glass-lined pan, heat to 60ºC, stir slowly add p-aminobanisole, stir at 60-65ºC for 30min to completely dissolve. 30% industrial material was used to adjust the acidity of the solution and the Congo red test paper was bluish. The paper was maintained for 10min, then sodium thiocyanate was added, heated, and slowly heated to 105ºC. The reflux was carried out at 105ºC for 24h. Then cool to 25ºC and strain. The cake was washed and dried with water to obtain p-methoxypheny.(2) Inhaling anhydrous into a dry glass lined pan, stirring and adding dry p-methoxyphel. Heat to 60-62ºC, steam out part of the and the water in the raw material. Then cool to 25ºC and gradually add sulfur chloride. After adding, stir at 30ºC for 1 hour, temperature rise to 43-45ºC for 4h reaction. The reaction produces hydrogen chloride gas, which is absorbed by the absorption system. Then the reflux reaction was carried out at 62-64ºC for 10h. The material was then cooled to below 60ºC, pressed into an acid still containing chimney ash (instead of activated carbon) and water, and it was recovered by direct steam distillation until the temperature was 95ºC and maintained for 15min. After the recovery of it, the distillation was stopped and cooled to 90ºC, water was added to adjust the volume, and then chilled to 45ºC. 30% liquid alkali was added in a small stream to adjust the pH value to 4-5, stirring for 15min. After filtration, the filtrate was heated to 60ºC, and phenolic phthalein was slightly red by alkaline analysis with 30% liquid alkali. Filter, the filter cake is the finished product. Melting point 160-163ºC yield 85%.UseDye intermediate. Used for manufacturing cationic brilliant blue RL, cationic yellow 2RL; From it, 6-methoxy-3 methylbenzothiazolhydrazone was prepared, and then cationic yellow GL was produced.StorageStored in a dry and ventilated warehouse; keep away from sunshine; avoid fire; avoid moisture.
